Division Street in New Rochelle was transformed into an outdoor dining experience on Father's Day as part of a new pilot program called New Rochelle Eats.
Tables were spaced 6 feet apart for social distancing, and the two-week program is meant to help businesses affected by the coronavirus pandemic to rebound and rebuild.
The program runs through Sunday, July 5, and is held every day from noon to 9 p.m. Reservations are not required, but restaurants say that they received more than 300 reservations on Sunday alone.
