Police in New Rochelle are searching for armed robbers who hit a check cashing store Monday morning.
Police say the incident happened at around 8 a.m. at 202 North Ave. According to police, the suspects accosted a female employee when she opened the store. Authorities say the armed robbers forced the woman to deactivate the alarm and open the safe.
Police officials say the woman was not physically hurt in the incident. Authorities will not release the amount of money that was stolen. Police are interviewing possible witnesses and reviewing surveillance video.
