The man tapped to be the next principal at New Rochelle High School is now not taking the job.

Adofo Muhammad says he is dealing with some serious family matters and will be unable to provide the time and dedication needed to make sure that New Rochelle High School becomes one of the premier high schools in the region.

Superintendent Dr. Laura Feijoo gives her best wishes to Muhammad, saying she knows this creates anxieties for the high school community that has already been through so much. 

Dr. Feijoo is reassuring the community that discussions are taking place when it comes to next steps.
