A new exhibition is coming to New York City that will feature dozens of pieces of artwork from renowned street artist Banksy.
A series of stenciled murals will line the walls of the exhibition in TriBeca, showcasing the famous artist’s iconic works.
The exhibit, ‘Banksy in New York: Defaced’ commemorates the 10-year anniversary of his month-long residency in 2013, when the artist created one piece of artwork every day on the streets of New York City.
“The art of Banksy is something so universal, so easy to understand,” said Elena Frigenti, gallery manager of the exhibit. “"He literally covered the city and the boroughs of the city with his art… simple art to understand but the meaning is very deep so it's something that stays with you."
Visitors can expect to see more than 80 original works of sculptures, autographed canvases, and even a documentary.
Tickets are now on sale for the installation which runs through early spring.
