A notorious murderer has pleaded guilty to violating parole after his controversial release from prison.
Under the plea deal, Richard LaBarbera agreed to an undisclosed amount of prison time. The deal still needed to be finalized by an administrative law judge.
In the meantime, LaBarbera is being held at the Erie County Correctional Facility after a Buffalo newspaper reports his parole officers found him drunk just two weeks after his release.
LaBarbera is one of two men who murdered 16-year-old Paula Bohovesky in 1980. She was hit over the head with a concrete slab, raped and left to die in the street, just blocks from her Pearl River home.
