The MTA is going high tech in its efforts to try and encourage people to ride trains and subways again.
Officials say they are deploying 150 mobile Ultra Violet C units early next week.
The new pilot program uses a high-tech method to disinfect trains, buses and stations.
Their hope is to gauge the efficiency and cost effectiveness of this ultra-violet light technology.
After evaluation, the MTA hopes to expand to the Metro-North and LIRR.
