The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is proposing fare hikes for the first time in four years.
One-way peak Metro-North tickets could go up 4.6%.
Monthly and weekly passes could increase by 4.3%.
The Subway base fare would go from $2.75 to $2.90.
Toll fares would have the biggest jump, increasing by 5.5%.
