Movie theaters allowed to reopen today with COVID-19 restrictions in place

Movie lovers across Westchester and the Hudson Valley will finally have the chance to see popular flicks on the big screen today as theaters across the area reopen today.

Movie lovers across Westchester and the Hudson Valley will finally have the chance to see popular flicks on the big screen today as theaters across the area reopen today.
Movie theaters outside of New York City can reopen, but are limited to 25% capacity with no more than 50 people per screening.
The Bedford Playhouse announced its lineup of blockbuster films, including Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, Monsters Inc. and Harry Potter.
However, theaters in Orange and Rockland counties where the infection rate is more than 2% over a 14-day average are not able to reopen.
