A county prisoner already in jail on drug charges is facing an additional two counts Monday after he was caught running a heroin ring from the county jail in Valhalla.
Police say an interdepartmental investigation helped officers finger Eddie Brabham, 36. Police say Brabham made a series of calls to Davan Coles, 25, who was helping him run a heroin ring. After listening in for three weeks, police searched Coles? home, where they say they found heroin and marijuana. Brabham was unaware that investigators were listening to phone calls he made to an accomplice from phones in the county jail.
Coles and Brabham have been charged with two counts of felony drug possession, and Coles faces an additional charge of endangering the welfare of a child.
