Mount Vernon DPW workers demand to be paid owed overtime

Dozens of fed up Mount Vernon DPW workers stormed City Hall Tuesday morning demanding to be paid.

Many of them say they are owned hundreds, even thousands, of dollars in unpaid overtime.
They blame Comptroller Deborah Reynolds, who says blames the DPW commissioners. She claimed they didn't submit the proper payroll paperwork to her office on time.
DPW Commissioner Mark Ederer did concede there was a payroll mix-up, but said moving forward, there's no good reason for a delay.
