The state suspended the liquor license of Mozza Restaurant and Bar in Mount Vernon after a number of violent incidents in and outside the establishment.
Dating back to December 2017, there have been six fights reported to police.
The latest fight happened Oct. 4. Mount Vernon police received a 911 call about a fight in front of the location, where they found a man shot in the head.
As of Wednesday, no alcohol is allowed to be sold or consumed at Mozza.
The state Liquor Authority says the suspension will remain in effect until it is modified by them or a court.
