Mostly cloudy Friday for the Hudson Valley before sunny and warm weekend

News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Addison Green says the Hudson Valley will see a mostly cloudy Friday before a sunny and warm weekend.
WHAT'S NOW: White Plains hit a temperature of 79 degrees this afternoon, breaking the previous record of 77 set in 1963. Temperatures will continue to be above average for Friday and Saturday where records will be challenged again.
WHAT'S NEW: Another weekend, another chance to see showers try and ruin plans. The stretch of weekends with rain will continue for the 8th straight time. A storm system will drop down Sunday midday, from the north and west. This will bring rain showers to the Hudson Valley Sunday midday into Monday evening.
WHAT'S NEXT: From short sleeves to coats and hats will be the Wardrobe Trend from Saturday into Tuesday. Temperatures will tumble around 30-40 degrees between this weekend and Halloween!

OVERNIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies, a very light breeze, and pleasant temps. Lows in the low- to mid-50s.
