More details are emerging about the apparent murder-suicide that took place over the past 24 hours in New Jersey and New York.
Police say that the body of Heather Trapp was found in the home of her ex-husband, Anthony, on Rose Lane in Old Bridge, N.J. yesterday. According to authorities, she had come to the home to pick up her children who were with their father.
Trapp was immediately a person of interest in Heather's death, but police couldn't find him or their young daughters. An Amber Alert was issued, until this morning, when the three of them were found in a New York State motel.
Police have yet to confirm that Trapp killed his ex-wife. An exact cause of death for both Trapp and his ex-wife has not been released. For extended Chopper 12 footage of the Fort Montgomery Motel raid, click on iO Extra on Channel 612.
