The new contracts improve pay differentials for specialized roles and improve tuition reimbursement. Mount Vernon and New Rochelle nurses also were guaranteed improved healthcare benefits.

Montefiore nurses in the Hudson Valley reached a deal with the hospital on Wednesday avoiding a strike.
The new contracts improve pay differentials for specialized roles and improve tuition reimbursement. Mount Vernon and New Rochelle nurses also were guaranteed improved healthcare benefits.
Nyack nurses will now be included in the NYSNA pension. Those nurses have been fighting for that change for decades.
