12h agoNurses at Montefiore New Rochelle are planning to hold a two-day unfair labor practice strike next Tuesday and Wednesday.
Nurses threatened the strike during a protest last week in which they demanded the hospital provide enough nurses to combat COVID-19 and care for patients.
They claim the hospital is denying front-line nurses the resources necessary to care for infected patients.
Nurses are meeting with management this week in an effort to resolve issues and avert the strike.
There has been no comment from the hospital on the union's latest announcement.
