A group of homeowners in Monroe say a neighboring community's growing water use has left them with little to no water for months.
One family on Old Country Road told News 12 that the Town of Palm Tree is responsible for their water due to an agreement with Monroe, and allege that Palm Tree's well is running theirs dry.

They say that the Town of Palm Tree provided residents with a water tank last October as a temporary solution, but it is still there.
Neighbors say at least two homes have no water, and that others are running low.
Monroe officials say the disruption is due to Palm Tree's use of the nearby ‘Larkin Well’ and that they're working with Palm Tree to fix the problem.
Town of Palm Tree officials have not yet commented on the situation.
