A Navy man from Monroe got a special sendoff from his hometown.
Navy Senior Chief Matthew Center received a hero's “lights and sirens” parade just ahead of his deployment.
Center, an NYPD detective, deployed last Sunday to an undisclosed location.
His wife said she wanted to make the occasion special for both him and their two young children.
