It's a heartbreaking day for the family and friends of a Spring Valley teenwho died over the weekend. 
Kevin Pinto-Carrillo was a senior at the high school, poised to graduate in Wednesday's ceremony.
The teen was reported missing near Haverstraw Beach State Park.
His body was recovered from the river Monday afternoon.

According to the East Ramapo school superintendent, he died while trying to save a friend in the river. 

Friends of Pinto-Carrillo have started a GoFundMe page, with hopes to raise money for funeral expenses.
