A White Plains family is breathing easier after a missing family member was found late Monday afternoon.
Frank Deleo said his elderly father, Tom, disappeared into the winter storm Sunday morning and was found by police 30 hours later near the Poconos in Pennsylvania. Frank said he last spoke to his father around 9 a.m. to wish him a happy 77th birthday, but attempts to reach him after that failed.
Frank and his wife, Patrice, say they feared the worst after filing a missing persons report early Monday. They say they were relieved when White Plains police called to tell them Tom was found disoriented, but safe.
