Middletown man killed in upstate boating accident

Police say 50-year-old Christopher Wade was ejected into the water of Cayuga Lake when the boat he was on struck a railroad bridge.

A Middletown man was killed Saturday after a boating accident upstate.
Police say 50-year-old Christopher Wade was ejected into the water of Cayuga Lake when the boat he was on struck a railroad bridge.
He was pulled from the water by rescue crews but later pronounced dead.
Another Middletown man, Jamar Lindo, was seriously hurt.
An exact cause of the crash as well as who was operating the boat remains under investigation.
