Last year the Mavericks were expected to compete for a national championship, but an outbreak of COVID-19 in the playoffs ended their season. But now they're ready.

The Mercy College men's lacrosse team is ready for their shot at a national title.
Last year the Mavericks were expected to compete for a national championship, but an outbreak of COVID-19 in the playoffs ended their season.  But now they're ready.
Last week, the Mavericks took down perennial power Le Moyne College in double overtime to advance to the Division Two National Championship game.
Sunday's showdown against the University of Tampa will be in East Hartford at 4 p.m.
