New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is questioning Gov. Andrew Cuomo's motives for rolling back COVID-19 restrictions.

De Blasio was skeptical as to whether the changes were being made to gain favor with voters.

"Is this being done because of what the data and science is telling us or is this being done for political reasons?" asked de Blasio. "Because it sure as hell looks like a lot of these decisions are being made by the governor because of his political needs."

Cuomo's office has not responded to de Blasio's comments.
