Police have identified a male body that was found in a Carmel stream Sunday.

Police say a hunter discovered the body of 64-year-old Guillermo DeJesus off a bike path south of the Putnam Trail. DeJesus, of the Bronx, was apparently in the stream for several weeks, authorities say.

Police say DeJesus was likely missing from the Arms Acres Rehabilitation facility on Seminary Hill Road since Sept. 12.

An autopsy and a toxicology report are being conducted. Anyone with information is asked to call 845-628-1300.
