A man is recovering in the hospital after being shot in the leg in Mount Vernon last night.
Mount Vernon police say the shooting occurred around 9 p.m. on South Fifth Avenue.
The victim was rushed to the hospital and is expected to be OK.
No arrests have been made yet, and police have not released a motive at this time.
