Man goes into cardiac arrest after crash in Yonkers
An elderly man was seriously injured Monday in a Yonkers crash.Officials say the crash happened around 11:15 p.m. at Saw Mill River and Palmer roads. According to officials, the man's SUV crashed through a fence and then went down a hill.Police say the 89-year-old man went into cardiac arrest as emergency crews attempted to get him out of his vehicle. Officials say he was taken to Saint Joseph's Hospital and then transferred to Westchester Medical Center.There is no word yet on the man's condition.Police say they believe the weather may have caused the accident.
