Police are searching for suspects in the fatal shooting of a man in his car on a Mount Vernon street Friday.

When police arrived at Aetna Place around 7:30 a.m. they found the car in the middle of the street with the engine still running. Police say it appears 47-year-old Glenn Brown, of Mount Vernon, was shot in the chest and head. Brown died at the scene. Police say nothing was missing from the vehicle.

According to police, Brown lived around the corner from where the shooting took place. Anyone with information is asked to contact Mount Vernon detectives at 914-665-2510.
