A man faces charges for allegedly selling heroin to two underage teenage girls out of his parents' Pearl River home.
Orangetown police say they arrived at the home Friday, where one of the girls who appeared to be under the influence answered the door. The other girl was allegedly passed out inside. Police say the teens admitted to using heroin that they purchased from Patrick Yacubovich, 21.
According to authorities, Yacubovich's parents were away on vacation at the time of the incident. The girls were taken to a hospital then released to their parents. Authorities say they also found marijuana at the residence.
Neighbors say they aren't surprised. "They'd have parties every weekend and you can smell the marijuana," says Karen Guglielmo.
Yacubovich is being held on $10,000 bail at the Rockland County Jail. He's charged with possession, sale of a controlled substance, endangering the welfare of a child, resisting arrest and harassment.
