Omar Rodriguez, 27, made bail after his arrest. Rodriguez already faces a statutory rape charge for an incident in Connecticut and multiple counts of child endangerment. Several female students from Hommocks Middle School came forward last month with accusations that the teacher touched them.
While people from Rodriguez?s house did not want to comment on the case, community members expressed shock over the allegations. Many say the incident is rare, so they hope Rodriguez is prosecuted to the fullest extent.
