Yonkers' newest luxury building was unveiled in the city Wednesday.
Mayor Mike Spano and China Construction America, a real estate and construction company, officially opened the River Club – a 214-unit building right off the Hudson River.
The River Club is one of many buildings popping up in Downtown Yonkers. Spano says Yonkers is revamping its image from an old industrial city to a residential gem.
The building has a private indoor pool, direct access to the waterfront promenade and is just a short walk away from the train station into Manhattan.
One of the major selling points of the property is the sky lounge. It has a pool table, shuffle board and a full kitchen with sleek, modern bar stools and couches to watch TV.
There is also a rooftop view of the Hudson River and the city skyline.
Developers say the building is already 50% occupied.
