Loved ones remember Croton-On-Hudson doctor
Friends and family gathered at Holy Name of Mary Church in Croton-On-Hudson Tuesday night to remember a caring doctor who died in a freak accident.
Dr. John Corser, 55, died Thursday after a tree fell on his car while he was traveling on Furnace Dock Road in Cortlandt. His two children were in the back seat and, miraculously, escaped harm.
Corser?s brother, Tom, talked about what a great role model John was to everyone. He was chief of medicine at Metropolitan Hospital in New York City. Corser will no doubt be missed by everyone who was touched by his kindness. Corser also ran an AIDS clinic at the hospital where he worked. His colleagues held another memorial service to honor the selfless doctor. As Corser?s family and friends continue to remember him, many say his compassion and kindness will never be forgotten.Croton doctor killed after tree crashes downon car
