Long Island man released from hospital after more than 100 days

A Long Island man has beaten COVID-19 after spending more than 100 days in the hospital.

Hafeez Rehman, 43, was admitted to Northwell-LIJ in New Hyde Park about four months ago.

During that time, Rehman had to be intubated three times.

The hospital says he has had the longest stay of anyone to date.

Rehman will now be heading to rehab.

His family says they are thankful he is out of the hospital.
