LiveOnNY: Man fatally shot by New Rochelle police saved 4 through organ donations
The nonprofit LiveOnNY says Jarrell Garris’s organs were donated to people between the ages of 30-75 in New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania. They needed kidney, liver, lung and heart transplants.

10h agoThe New Rochelle man who was shot by police and later died helped save the lives of four people through organ donation.
The nonprofit LiveOnNY says Jarrell Garris’s organs were donated to people between the ages of 30-75 in New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania. They needed kidney, liver, lung and heart transplants.
Garris was shot on Lincoln Avenue on July 3. He died a week later. The state Attorney General's Office is investigating.
Three New Rochelle Police officers remain on administrative leave.
