Long before coronavirus, another deadly health threat was growing worse in New York - the crisis shortage of organs, which is the topic of a weeklong Turn To Tara investigation starting today.
All this week, Tara Rosenblum will be exploring the reasons why so many hundreds of patients are dying each year.
The wait list for vital organs is so long in New York that many patients are simply packing their bags and leaving.
