Lawmakers urge Cuomo to reopen Resorts World Catskills casino

Gaming officials say the industry is losing millions of dollars with many workers on furlough.

Hudson Valley lawmakers are inviting Gov. Andrew Cuomo to visit Resorts World Catskills in Monticello to see just how safe it is to play there.
In a statement State Assemblywoman Aileen Gunther says, "They have gone above and beyond to ensure that players and staff have a safe environment to return to when they reopen."
News 12 recently got a look inside Resorts World Catskills where they invested in thermal scanners, plexiglass and extra cleaning.                  
Casinos have not yet been allowed to reopen in New York.
