Westchester County Executive George Latimer is calling for the heads of some utility companies.
In a video posted on the Westchester Government Facebook page Wednesday, Latimer angrily demanded answers for why tens of thousands of Westchester residents are still without power since last Friday’s storm.
"We're done. I'm going to call together elected officials of these communities, we going to call for resignations of senior management.”
Latimer says the leaders of Con Edison and NYSEG should resign. "We're all tired of these excuses; there are human beings out there who are getting statistics instead of real world services."
On Thursday, Latimer blasted the leaders of Con Edison and NYSEG during a briefing at the Yorktown Police Department. Both electricity companies have come under fire as thousands in the Hudson Valley are still dealing with power outages since Friday's nor'easter.
