Kingston Fire Department rescues injured hiker on Devil’s Path in Hunter

The Kingston Fire Department received reports about an injured hiker on the Devil's Path on Route 214.

The Kingston Fire Department said they helped rescue an injured hiker Saturday in Hunter. 
They received reports about an injured hiker on the Devil's Path on Route 214.
Five agencies headed into the woods, hiking about 2 miles and nearly 2,000 feet in elevation before getting to the victim. 
The team cared for him and got him out of the woods where he could get more care. 
The whole response took about five hours. 
There's no word yet on the hiker’s condition.
