Is he or isn’t he? Kanye West used the holiday weekend to announce a bid for the White House.

The rapper and businessman announced on July 4 on Twitter that he is entering the presidential race.

And while it is something he has spoken about in the past, the announcement has brought on more questions than answers.

But experts say right now, there is no evidence Kanye filed papers with the Federal Election Commission just four months before the Nov. 3 election.

Filing deadlines for candidates have also passed in several states, including New York.
