Jury deliberations resumed Monday in the murder trial of alleged drug kingpin Khalid "Big Homie" Barnes.
The capital case is the first the federal courthouse in White Plains has seen in years, which means Barnes could get the death penalty if he's found guilty.
His attorney says there are no witnesses who can directly tie his client to the murders of two rival Manhattan drug dealers over three kilos of cocaine, as the prosecution claims.
DEA agents arrested Barnes and 87 other suspected drug dealers in 2004. Most of the suspects pleaded guilty and some testified against Barnes in exchange for lighter sentences.
Barnes allegedly ran the violent drug gang the Barnes Brothers out of Peekskill. Authorities say the organization terrorized the city for years.
Jurors have been deliberating since Friday.
