A judge is dismissing the charges against a young girl whose arrest was captured on video, according to the attorney for Julissa Dawkins.
Back in March 2019, Dawkins, then 12 years old, along with her 15-year-old sister, were spectators of a fight when they were arrested by Poughkeepsie police. Part of the incident was caught on camera.
Charges against her sister were ordered to be dismissed back in March.
As part of the deal, the girls must attend school regularly, obey the school's rules and regulations, and have no adverse interaction with law enforcement.
