A burger joint in Hartsdale held a hamburger-eating contest Friday night.
The competition, hosted by Jake's Wayback Burgers, invited five contestants to its "Triple, Triple Challenge."
There were nine burger patties stacked on top of one another, in between two buns.
Blake Mayers won the contest by finishing it all, cheese included, in 3 minutes and 23 seconds.
"A friend of mine had hit me up this morning and told me about the competition and, you know, I love to eat," Mayers said.
Other Jake's Wayback Burgers locations around the country held similar competitions in honor of National Cheeseburger Day.
The fastest eater among all of the competitions is expected to be announced Saturday. He or she will receive a check for $3,330.
