‘Jagged Little Pill’ closes its doors on Broadway due to COVID concerns
Broadway show “Jagged Little Pill” announced Monday that will not reopen due to coronavirus concerns.
In a tweet, it said the show was closing due to the rapid spread of omicron and because of the multiple positive cases within the company - and that it wanted to keep the cast and crew safe and healthy. 
“In light of the extreme uncertainty ahead of this winter and forced to choose between continuing performances and producing our company, we made the difficult to decision to close our door,” the tweet stated. 
The show’s final performance was on Friday, Dec. 17.
