The U.S. Military Academy says the cadets who displayed hand gestures during the Army-Navy football game were not making a white supremacy signal.
Investigators say they were playing the "circle game," a popular game among teens. The cadets came under fire during last Saturday's ESPN broadcast of the game.
West Point officials say based on the findings, the cadets involved will face administrative or disciplinary actions.
The chief of staff of the Army says, "American people trust our Soldiers to do the right things the right way. We must be mindful of behavior which brings that trust into question."
