Halloran’s father started the Break the Hold Foundation to bring attention to mental health issues.
“People have to make a commitment to mental health. People have to care about my son, care about other people we've lost and they're here to do it. They're here to turn the tide. We want new things to happen. We want a different world,” he said.
This year's walk drew a near record of 750 people.
