It looks like a part of Christmas may not be coming to South Blooming Grove this year.

Officials in the Orange County community say the village can't afford to rent the equipment needed to decorate their tree that's usually lit for the holiday outside of Village Hall.

They say a volunteer put up the menorah they have out front for Hannukah that now stands alongside their bare tree.

Village officials say they have the Christmas lights but that they need a volunteer with a lift to safely decorate it.
