Police have released the identity of the pedestrian who was fatally struck by a police officer in Yonkers.
Investigators say the man killed was 80-year-old Albert Farina of Yonkers.
They tell News 12 that Farina was hit by an off-duty sergeant's vehicle while crossing Kimball Avenue on Monday afternoon.
Officials say the sergeant remained at scene and that she is cooperating with investigators.
No charges have been filed at this time.
