<p>An impressive number of people turned out at the Larchmont Yacht Club Saturday for the 25th anniversary of the Swim Across America cancer fundraiser.</p>

Hundreds turn out in Larchmont for swimming fundraiser
An impressive number of people turned out at the Larchmont Yacht Club Saturday for the 25th anniversary of the Swim Across America cancer fundraiser.
Organizers say more than 700 people took part in the swim.
The open-water swim in the Long Island Sound was moved to a pool because of blustery wind outside. 
Organizers say they hoped to raise $1.2 million at the event. The money will go to local beneficiaries.
