Hudson Valley students tout environmental knowledge at 'Envirothon'

The competition tested students in topics like forestry, soils, wildlife and more.

Hudson Valley students put their environmental knowledge to the test during this year's "Envirothon."
The competition tested students in topics like forestry, soils, wildlife and more.
Fifteen high schools were represented by 30 teams.
The winners from each category were celebrated at Croton Point Park in Croton-on-Hudson Friday.
Ossining High School won an award for aquatics and will go to the state "Envirothon" in late May at SUNY Cortland.
