It's a Black Friday like we've never seen before due to the coronavirus pandemic surging across the Hudson Valley.
Pre-pandemic Black Friday was a slew of shoppers waiting to get in line to get into stores, and search for deep discounts.
This year, things are looking a bit different.
News 12's Shannon Longworth was at the Palisades Mall in West Nyack this morning where there was not nearly as many people as there have been in previous years.
Many of the early morning shoppers say they were trying to get in and out quickly of the stores to minimize contact with other people.
Retailers require masks, and urge people to keep their distance from each other.
Mall representatives say this is traditionally the most popular shopping weekend of the year.
