Hudson Valley pools and beaches will be operating at limited capacity as the region braces for a possible heat wave.

Hudson Valley pools and beaches will be operating at limited capacity as the region braces for a possible heat wave this weekend.
News 12’s Phil Taitt visited Saxon Woods Pool in White Plains Saturday, where he spoke with many families who said they were happy to get out of the house and into the water.
Under the pool’s guidelines and capacity limitations, visitors must wear a mask if they are unable to remain socially distant.
Public libraries in Yonkers will also serving as cooling centers with limited hours.
The State Department of Health says cooling centers must screen workers and visitors.
Anyone who comes in to a cooling center must also sign in to assist with contact tracing. They must also use face coverings, practice social distancing and person hygiene.
Con-Ed is reminding residents to clean out air condition filters so cables don't overheat and lead to power outages.
