Another Hudson Valley resident is being charged for his alleged role in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.
Robert Ballesteros turned himself in to the FBI in Rye this week, according to court documents.
The criminal complaint alleges someone asked him on Instagram if he had stormed the Capitol, to which he responded, "Put my foot in that door" and "Made my stand."
Officials say Ballesteros posted a screenshot of himself in the Capitol on his Instagram account.
He also told someone that he had a video of a woman who was killed during the riot.
A total of five people died.
Ballesteros faces one federal charge of unlawfully entering the building and disrupting government functions.
He becomes the latest of nearly a dozen people connected to the Hudson Valley who have been charged in connection to the Capitol riot earlier this year.
Ballesteros was arraigned in Washington, D.C. and released. He is scheduled to be back in court on March 22.
